Engineer / Sr. Engineer Receipt Quality (RQC)

Department: Receipt Quality Control (RQC)

Location: Phaltan Plant

Experience: 4- 6 Years

Industry Preference: Genset / Engine Manufacturing Industry

Key Responsibilities
Handle incoming material inspection and quality assurance activities for bought-out components and supplier parts.
Ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and process requirements.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for supplier quality issues.
Coordinate with suppliers, procurement, production, and engineering teams for quality improvements.
Maintain and monitor rejection trends, supplier performance, and quality documentation.
Lead containment actions for non-conforming materials and ensure timely closure.
Work on supplier audits, process validations, and quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure effective implementation of quality systems and adherence to plant quality procedures.
Generate and maintain quality reports, inspection records, and MIS through SAP.




Support recent product development and localization activities from the quality perspective.

Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of Receipt Quality / Incoming Quality processes.
Positive communication skills as involve with supplier for analysis inhouse & customer defects
Hands-on experience in SAP related to quality and material management modules.
Good understanding of quality tools such as 7 QC Tools, CAPA, RCA, FMEA, and VPPAP.
Knowledge of engine / genset components and manufacturing processes.
Robust analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and suppliers.

Educational Qualification:
BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.

Preferred Candidate Profile:
Candidate should have minimum 6 years of experience in the Genset / Engine / Sheet metal manufacturing industry.
Experience in supplier quality management and incoming inspection activities is preferred.
Exposure to OEM manufacturing environments will be an added advantage.
