About the job nnJob Summary - We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate – Fund Accounting to handle end-to-end accounting for Hedge Funds and Private Equity. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in LP–GP accounting, capital activities, investor reporting, and hedge fund NAV processes, with a solid understanding of alternative investment structures.

nn Key Responsibilities:

Perform end-to-end Private Equity and Hedge Fund accounting, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and NAV calculations.
n
Prepare and review Capital Call notices, distributions, redemptions, and investor statements.· Maintain and reconcile PCAP (Partners’ Capital Accounts) for LPs and GPs (PE funds).
n
Handle LP–GP accounting, including allocations, profit sharing, expense allocations, and management fee calculations.
n
Support and execute waterfall calculations as per fund agreements
n
Manage hedge fund NAV-related activities, including cash & position reconciliation, P&L; calculation, and expense accruals.




n

nAssist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.

Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.

Coordinate with internal teams, auditors, fund administrators, and clients for smooth delivery and reporting.

nn Required Skills & Qualifications:

nn

n
5+ years of experience in Private Equity and/or Hedge Fund Accounting.
n
Robust understanding of PE fund structures, LP–GP accounting, and hedge fund operations.
n
Hands-on experience with: Capital Call notices, Redemptions, PCAP (Partner's Capital Account), Waterfall Calculations, Hedge fund NAV, reconciliations, and investor reporting
n
Robust communication and stakeholder management skills.
