A Home Care Nurse provides personalized, in-home medical care and recovery support to patients. They work with patients recovering from surgery, managing chronic illnesses, or requiring geriatric assistance. Their core duties include tracking vitals, administering medications, changing dressings, and educating families on ongoing care.

Key Responsibilities
Patient Assessment: Conduct regular health assessments, record medical histories, and monitor vital signs.
Medication & Treatments: Administer prescriptions, insulin, and therapies according to physician care plans.
Wound Care: Clean and dress wounds, monitor for infections, and test for muscle weakness or bedsores.
Education: Teach family members and caregivers how to safely assist with daily care, manage medications, and handle aftercare.
Care Coordination:



Collaborate with doctors and the broader healthcare team to adjust care plans as the patient's health evolves.
Emotional Support: Provide compassionate support to patients and families coping with challenging health conditions.

Qualifications & Skills
Required Education: Degree or diploma in nursing (GNM, BSc Nursing,) with an active State Nursing Council registration.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and training in geriatrics or palliative care are highly advantageous.
Soft Skills: Solid communication, adaptability, and the ability to work independently without direct hospital supervision.
