— STAFF NURSES
Provides compassionate and competent nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures
Assisting in the admission and discharge procedure.
Monitor patient vital signs, observe for any changes in condition, and report findings to the appropriate personnel
Administer oral medicines / Injections as prescribed by healthcare providers
Recording of medicine and injection given
Perform procedures including Cannulation, phlebotomy procedure, Catheterization, Ryle's tube insertion, Sterile dressing, mouth care, Catheter care, tracheostomy care, and monitor vital signs.
Assist physicians during rounds and procedures
Handing over and taking charge of the shift
Pre- operative and post-operative patient care
Prepares equipment and assists physicians during examinations and treatments
Plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
Maintains confidentiality of patient records
Keeping the ward clean and neat
Oversee and guide the work of other nursing and supporting staff.
Educate patients and their families about their health condition, treatment plans, and self-care strategies
Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives within the department
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and well-being
