CLFC is expanding its sign language interpreter roster to support both in office assignments across the greater Salem, OR area and remote/virtual assignments nationwide. We are seeking experienced Oregon sign language interpreters looking to supplement their existing schedule with flexible, high-priority appointments.

Complete Flexibility: The roster is strictly non-exclusive. Maintain full control of your calendar by accepting only the assignments that align with your availability.
Hybrid Coverage Options: Access a steady mix of local on-site assignments and remote/virtual sessions.
Competitive, Guaranteed Pay: $100 to $120 per hour with a guaranteed 2-hour minimum per assignment.
Short-Notice & Cancellation Protection: Assignments scheduled inside standard notice windows receive premium rates. Confirmed assignments canceled within 24 hours of the appointment time are paid in full.
Travel Reimbursement: In office travel is reimbursed at the active GSA mileage rate.
Administrative & Scheduling Support: Logistics, contracting,



and invoicing are handled directly by CLFC. All scheduling, location confirmations, and appointment details are managed seamlessly through the BRIDGE App.

Requirements
Active interpreter certification (e.g., RID, BEI), or demonstrated interpreting experience with an active pathway to certification.
Professional interpreting background in medical, legal, educational, or government settings.
Reliable equipment and secure internet for virtual sessions, and dependable transportation for in office appointments.
