JOB SUMMARY

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to
our growth, we’re looking to add a Product Engineer - Engineering Change Order
Management (ECM) located in Chennai location.

Reports to the Manager, and the role involves,

What a typical day looks like:
Handle a team of 10 – 15 Engineers.
Efficiently manage ECO / PDM process for manufacturing sites across the globe
Work closely with IT for Design & Engineering tools
Conduct flawless transition of processes from sites
Perform Quarterly / Annual performance appraisals for the team members.




Ensure adherence to targets set for all Process Metrics
Ensure timely generation and circulation of reports / dashboards.
Mentor the team and guide them towards effective discharge of functions.
Handle escalations if any, and escalate matters requiring the senior
management’s attention on a timely basis.
Train current and existing team members on relevant tools or topics.
Perform root cause analysis to expedite the resolution of service issues.
Maintain excellent relationship with internal customers at site and with key
stakeholders in the organization
Create and make skilled presentations to Management and customers
Identify, recommend, and implement operational efficiencies to drive
continuous improvement
Lead Lean Six Sigma projects and have your team do the same
Prepare Customized reports for analyzing and incorporating improvements in
processes
