Job Summary

YS School is looking for a passionate, competent and result-oriented Mathematics Lecturer who can inspire students to develop solid conceptual understanding, analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills and the ability to make Mathematics engaging and relevant for senior school students.

Key Responsibilities
Teach Mathematics to senior school students in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and school academic framework.
Develop robust conceptual understanding and mathematical reasoning among students.




Prepare effective lesson plans, teaching resources, assignments, worksheets and assessments.
Use innovative and activity-based teaching methodologies wherever appropriate.
Identify individual learning gaps and provide appropriate academic support and remedial guidance.
Regularly assess student performance and maintain accurate academic records.
Prepare students effectively for board examinations, competitive examinations and other academic assessments.
Encourage logical thinking, analytical reasoning, problem-solving and application-based learning.
Monitor students' academic progress and communicate relevant concerns to the Coordinator/Academic Head.
Participate actively in parent-teacher meetings, academic reviews and school activities.
Contribute to question-paper setting, evaluation, moderation and examination-related responsibilities.
