Main Duties & Responsibilities

Business Control Function
Establish and drive a proactive management reporting and controls function.
Integrate a commercial approach to the control and reporting function with value creation as the underlying objective.
Implement effective, adaptable and agile systems and processes.
Coordinate with the Downstream Business Control team to ensure standardization of processes within similar businesses.
Review terms and conditions for major suppliers and contractors.
Develop internal control policies and procedures.
Identify and address business productivity and efficiency opportunities.
Act as a business partner to various business units.

Financial Systems & Metrics
Provide accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
Analyse financial variances and develop improvement measures.
Ensure appropriate allocation and reporting of costs and margins.




Review management reporting systems and processes.
Coordinate guidelines and standard templates for the budgeting process and present the consolidated budget.
Work with business units to calibrate reporting metrics and continuously evaluate financial and operating metrics.
Review control and reporting procedures and document deficiencies and improvement opportunities.

Accounting & Financial Management
Manage all accounting operations including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
Coordinate and direct the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts and report variances.
Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reports.
Handle technical accounting issues to ensure compliance.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
