Position Overview

Vera is seeking a curious and analytical Intern to join our Data team. The intern will work on real-world data projects involving data preparation, analysis, visualization, and statistical modelling, while gaining exposure to data science and data engineering practices.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist with data collection, cleaning, preprocessing, and preparation for analysis




Perform exploratory data analysis and identify trends, patterns, and insights from datasets
Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Super Set
Support the development and evaluation of statistical and machine learning models
Write SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from different sources
Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines and analytical solutions
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders
Work with internal teams and clients across different data and business use cases
Complete assigned tasks and provide regular updates on progress
Qualifications and Experience

Essential
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or an equivalent field (no experience required)
Solid fundamentals in Python and SQL
Basic understanding of statistics and
