Amex Technology is a software development & AI agency looking for someone to manage our Upwork bidding — finding the right jobs, writing tailored proposals, and tracking outreach, so our own developers can stay focused on delivery instead of bidding.
Responsibilities
Search and shortlist genuinely well-matched Upwork jobs daily (web dev, AI/automation, GoHighLevel/CRM work)
Write tailored, honest proposals using our real portfolio and case studies — no generic templates, no fabricated experience
Track every proposal sent, client replies, and outcomes in our shared tracker
Flag red flags (scope mismatch, unrealistic budgets, suspicious client history) rather than bidding blindly
Coordinate with the founder/dev team on rate, scope,
and availability before finalizing proposals
Requirements
Solid written English — proposals are client-facing and often the first impression
Prior experience bidding on Upwork (your own account or on behalf of an agency) strongly preferred
Comfortable reading technical job descriptions across web dev, AI, and automation work well enough to judge genuine fit
Organized, detail-oriented — this role runs on consistency, not one big win
