About Us

Messina Madrid Global is a growing international organization serving clients across multiple countries. We are looking for a detail-oriented US Accountant with 2–5 years of hands-on US accounting experience to join our remote finance team.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for US-based clients.
Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
Prepare journal entries, maintain the general ledger, and assist with month-end and year-end closing.
Prepare financial statements and management reports.
Work with QuickBooks Online/Desktop and other US accounting software.
Support payroll processing and maintain accurate financial records.
Coordinate with CPAs, tax specialists, and internal teams.
Ensure compliance with US accounting standards and company policies.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.




2–5 years of hands-on US accounting experience (mandatory).
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop.
Experience with AP, AR, General Ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home workspace.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Xero, NetSuite, Sage, or similar accounting software.
Experience with US payroll and sales tax.
Experience working with US-based CPA firms or international clients.
