Role: MCP Expert

Rate : $60 - $120/hr

Job Type: Contractor (~15 hrs/week)
Location: Remote Work from anywhere
Schedule: Flexible choose your own hours and days, including weekends

What Youll Do

Youll create Reinforcement Learning (RL) environments that evaluate AI agents on complex software engineering tasks using Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools.

Your work may involve:
Fixing complex bugs
Implementing new features
Refactoring existing codebases
Optimizing performance and scalability
Designing environments where AI agents discover and reason over information from real MCP servers
Creating deterministic verification and reproducible test environments
Developing golden reference solutions to accurately evaluate AI performance





No prior AI experience is required — your software engineering expertise is what matters!

Required Skills
Proficiency in C++, Python, Java, Go, TypeScript, or Rust
Robust understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms
Experience with debugging complex software issues
Strong background in feature development and codebase refactoring
Experience with performance optimization and scalability
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to work effectively in collaborative/remote teams

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with large-scale or distributed codebases
Familiarity with AI/ML systems
Experience with rigorous code reviews and software engineering best practices
