Job Description:

Position: Production Manager

Location: Umbergaon near by Vapi

Experience: 5 - 6 Years

Industries: Steel

Responsibilities:
Plan, manage, and monitor daily steel production activities to achieve production targets.
Ensure production as per quality, quantity, cost, and delivery requirements.
Manage manpower, machines, raw materials, and production schedules.
Monitor production processes and identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Dispatch departments.
Reduce production losses, rejection, wastage, and downtime.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, work instructions, and production standards.
Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with Maintenance for breakdowns.
Maintain production records, reports, and shift-wise performance data.
Ensure proper implementation of 5S, safety, and EHS procedures.




Lead and motivate production supervisors and operators.
Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of steel manufacturing processes and production operations.
Positive manpower and production planning skills.
Knowledge of 5S, Lean Manufacturing, RCA, and continuous improvement.
Solid leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work under production targets and in shifts when required.

Required Qualification: - B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical

Salary: - Upto 6.00 LPA
