EMT Technician – Emergency Department

Location: Phoenix Medicity, Chettuva, Thrissur

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced EMT Technician to provide prompt emergency medical support and assist the clinical team in delivering secure, productive and patient-centred emergency care in accordance with NABH standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide immediate pre-hospital and emergency support as per protocols and scope of practice.
Assist doctors and nurses in emergency procedures and patient stabilization.
Perform and record vital signs, ECG and other basic emergency assessments.
Ensure readiness of ambulance, emergency equipment, oxygen, monitors and crash carts.
Assist in patient transfer, shifting and safe transportation within the hospital.
Maintain accurate emergency documentation and patient records.
Follow infection prevention,



biomedical waste and patient safety protocols.
Participate in emergency drills, training and quality improvement activities.
Maintain effective communication with patients, attendants and the clinical team.
Follow hospital SOPs, emergency protocols and NABH requirements.

Eligibility:
EMT / Emergency Medical Technician qualification from a recognized institution.
2+ years of relevant Emergency Department / Ambulance experience preferred.
BLS/ACLS certification will be an advantage.
Valuable communication, teamwork and crisis-management skills.
Willingness to work in shifts.
