Coordinate shift schedules and manage break rotations to maintain adequate floor coverage.
Oversee point-of-sale (POS) registers, handle cash tills, and perform float reconciliations.
Supervise front-line workers, including cashiers, shelf stockers, and department clerks.
Train current onboarding hires on company policies, customer service standards, and safety rules.
Motivate team members to meet daily or weekly sales and productivity targets.
Address staff performance issues and resolve workplace grievances.
Track stock levels and report shortages or reorder needs to management.
Oversee the receipt, rotation, and placement of current merchandise shipments.
Implement loss-prevention measures to reduce item damage, waste, and theft.
Respond promptly to escalated customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints.
Authorize product returns, exchanges, and refunds according to store policy.
