Job Description – Audit Assistant

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Audit Assistant to join our Chartered Accountancy firm. The candidate will assist in audit, accounting, taxation, and compliance assignments under the guidance of senior team members.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in statutory, internal, tax, and compliance audit assignments.
Perform vouching, verification, checking, and reconciliation of financial transactions and supporting documents.
Assist in reviewing books of accounts, ledgers, invoices, bank statements, and other financial records.
Support the preparation of audit working papers, schedules, documentation, and reports.
Assist in GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities.
Assist senior team members in audit planning, fieldwork, and completion of assignments.
Coordinate with clients for collection of documents and clarification of queries.
Identify and report errors, discrepancies, and compliance issues to senior team members.
Maintain proper audit documentation and working files.




Stay updated with changes in accounting, auditing, taxation, and statutory regulations.

Required Skills
Basic knowledge of Accounting, Auditing, Income Tax, GST, and TDS.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
Good analytical and numerical skills.
Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines.

Qualification & Experience
B.Com / M.Com / CA Intermediate / CMA Intermediate or equivalent qualification.
Freshers are welcome to apply.
Candidates with prior experience in a Chartered Accountancy firm will also be considered.
Candidates should have a solid interest in Audit, Accounting, Taxation, and Compliance.
