Job Description

Position: Senior Accounts Officer

Location: Siliguri, West Bengal

Experience: 8+ Years

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with prior experience in a CA Firm will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally ERP/Tally Prime.

Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journal entries, and other accounting transactions.

Prepare and file GST returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and other applicable returns.

Reconcile purchase and sales data with GST records and GSTR-2B.

Handle TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and quarterly return filings.

Prepare and issue TDS certificates, including Form 16A, as applicable.

Assist with income tax computations, tax payments, and related compliance activities.

Prepare bank reconciliations, ledger reconciliations, and trial balances.

Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and outstanding follow-ups.





Assist in preparing financial statements and periodic management reports.

Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.

Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents, and required reconciliations.

Maintain proper documentation and records for GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory requirements.

Monitor statutory due dates and ensure timely compliance.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Hands-on experience with Tally ERP 9 or Tally Prime.

Valuable working knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax, and statutory compliance.

Practical experience preparing GST and TDS returns.

Experience assisting with internal, statutory, or tax audits.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
