Role Overview

Beyond Basics is hiring a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to handle day-to-day bookkeeping, financial record-keeping, and account reconciliations. This is an on-site role based out of our Brigade Road office. Fresh graduates with strong accounting fundamentals and solid Excel skills are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Bookkeeping: Record daily financial transactions, including vendor invoices, customer billings, bank entries, and petty cash expenses.
Invoicing & Receivables: Generate accurate client invoices, track outstanding payments, and assist with ledger balance follow-ups.
Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations, vendor ledger verifications, and petty cash settlements.
Statutory Support: Assist the team in compiling and organizing transaction records for monthly GST returns, TDS deductions, and annual tax audits.
Documentation & Filing:



Maintain organized digital and physical accounting archives, payment vouchers, and expense supporting documents.

Candidate Profile
Education: B.Com, BBA (Finance/Accounting), or relevant commercial degree.
Experience: Freshers welcome (0–1 year experience or relevant accounting internships).
Software Skills: Working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, basic formulas, pivot tables) and familiarity with Tally Prime or Zoho Books.
Core Competencies: Clear understanding of debit/credit rules, statutory concepts (basics of GST and TDS), and high numerical accuracy.
Logistics: Available to work full-time from Monday to Saturday at our Brigade Road office.
