Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Emergency Department Supervisor – Nursing to lead and coordinate nursing operations in the Emergency Department, ensuring safe, timely, patient-centred care and NABH-aligned clinical practices.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate day-to-day Emergency Nursing operations.
Ensure appropriate staffing, duty allocation and smooth shift handovers.
Monitor compliance with NABH standards, nursing protocols, infection control and patient safety practices.
Ensure timely triage, assessment, documentation and escalation of critical patients.
Coordinate effectively with Emergency Physicians, consultants and support departments.
Ensure readiness and proper functioning of emergency equipment, crash carts and essential drugs.
Monitor medication safety,



biomedical waste management and infection prevention practices.
Monitor nursing documentation, incident reporting and quality indicators.
Maintain discipline, qualified conduct and high standards of patient care.

Eligibility:
B.Sc Nursing / GNM with valid Nursing Council registration.
5 or more years of nursing experience, preferably with Emergency/Critical Care exposure.
Supervisory experience in a hospital setting preferred.
Valuable communication, leadership and crisis-management skills.
Knowledge of NABH standards and hospital quality practices will be an advantage.
