Job Summary

The Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, statutory compliance, and timely reporting. The role supports budgeting, audits, and financial control to maintain the organization’s financial health.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain books of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, and trial balance
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Reconcile bank statements, cash, and vendor accounts
Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliances
Manage payroll accounting and salary-related entries
Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to approved budgets
Assist in internal and external audits and provide required documentation
Maintain proper documentation of invoices, vouchers, and financial records
Coordinate with vendors, auditors, banks, and internal departments
Support management with MIS reports and financial analysis

Skills & Competencies




Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, ERP, SAP, etc.)
Good understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliances
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and coordination abilities
Ability to meet deadlines and handle pressure

Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
CA-Inter / CMA-Inter / M.Com preferred (not mandatory)

Experience
1–5 years of relevant accounting experience
Experience in hospitality / resort / service industry is an added advantage
