JOB DESCRIPTION – WARD STAFF NURSE
Department: Nursing / Inpatient Services
Designation: Ward Staff Nurse
Reporting To: Nursing Superintendent / Ward In-Charge
Employment Type: Full time | Rotational Shifts
Job Summary
Responsible for providing secure, compassionate and patient-centered nursing care to admitted patients, ensuring effective treatment delivery, continuous monitoring, accurate documentation and coordination with the medical and multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients as per individual care plans and clinical requirements.
Monitor and record vital signs, patient condition and treatment progress.
Administer medications, IV fluids, injections and treatments as prescribed.
Assist doctors during clinical procedures and patient assessments.
Identify changes in patient condition and promptly escalate to the doctor/Ward In-Charge.
Maintain accurate nursing notes, medication charts, patient records and shift handovers.
Ensure proper patient identification, medication safety and fall-prevention practices.
Follow infection prevention, hand hygiene and biomedical waste management protocols.
Educate patients and attendants regarding medication,
hygiene, diet and prescribed care.
Coordinate with doctors, physiotherapists, dieticians, pharmacy, laboratory and other departments.
Maintain cleanliness, safety and availability of ward equipment and nursing supplies.
Maintain patient confidentiality and skilled standards at all times.
Qualification & Experience
GNM / B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
Valid State Nursing Council registration.
1–3 years of hospital/ward nursing experience preferred.
Freshers may be considered based on organizational requirements.

Pay: From ₹300,000.00 per month
