Job Responsibilities
Perform welding, fabrication, and repair work as per drawings and specifications.
Carry out MIG, TIG, ARC, and/or gas welding as required.
Read and understand engineering drawings, welding symbols, and measurements.
Weld and fabricate steel, stainless steel, and other metal components.
Perform cutting, grinding, fitting, and finishing of metal parts.
Inspect welds for cracks, defects, porosity, and proper alignment.
Maintain welding machines, tools, and equipment in positive working condition.
Follow company safety procedures and use appropriate PPE at all times.
Ensure work is completed within the required quality and project schedule.
Coordinate with fitters, supervisors, and site/project teams.
Maintain a clean and secure working area.

Requirements




ITI / Vocational qualification in Welder/Fabrication is preferred.
Previous experience in marine, shipbuilding, offshore, industrial, or structural fabrication will be an advantage.
Knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and safety procedures.
Ability to read basic fabrication/engineering drawings.
Positive physical fitness and willingness to work at project/site locations.
Freshers with relevant ITI qualification may also be considered.
