Business Development Manager – Interior or Construction

Location: Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala

Key Responsibilities
Generate new business leads through direct marketing, referrals, networking, and field visits.
Develop relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, real-estate developers, and property owners.
Identify upcoming residential and commercial projects in the Trivandrum market.
Conduct client meetings, site visits, presentations, and sales pitches.
Understand customer requirements and coordinate with the design team to prepare proposals and quotations.
Follow up on leads, quotations, negotiations, and convert prospects into confirmed projects.
Achieve monthly and annual sales/revenue targets.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and update CRM/customer records.
Track competitor activity, pricing, market trends, and recent business opportunities.
Coordinate with design,



estimation, production, and project teams until project handover.
Build long-term relationships to generate repeat business and referrals.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree; MBA/Marketing qualification is an advantage.
1+ years of experience in business development/sales, preferably in interiors, construction, modular kitchens, furniture, building materials, or real estate.
Solid communication and negotiation skills in English and Malayalam.
Good knowledge of the Thiruvananthapuram market.
Existing contacts with architects, builders, contractors, or interior designers would be an advantage.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
Valid driving licence and own vehicle preferred.

Salary

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
