Job Description:

Responsible for precision welding, fabrication, and joining of components and enclosures used in flow meters, strainers, and other industrial instrumentation products according to technical drawings and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG/TIG welding on stainless steel, mild steel (MS), and other metals used in instrumentation products.
Weld flow meter housings, enclosures, pipe joints, brackets, and other fabricated components.
Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, welding symbols, and fabrication specifications.
Perform welding on thin metal sheets, pipes, and round joints with proper accuracy and finish.
Ensure proper weld penetration, strength, alignment, and surface finish.
Take necessary precautions to prevent distortion, warping, cracks, and leakage during fabrication.
Assist with pressure testing and leak testing of welded components where required.
Conduct visual inspection of welds and rectify welding defects when necessary.
Coordinate with the Fitter, Production, and Quality Control teams to meet product specifications.
Maintain welding machines, tools, and equipment in proper working condition.




Follow welding safety procedures, PPE requirements, and proper material-handling practices.
Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in the welding and fabrication area.

Desired Skills:
Valuable knowledge of MIG/TIG welding processes.
Ability to weld thin metal sheets and round pipe joints.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
Knowledge of stainless steel, MS, and other commonly used fabrication materials.
Experience with welding pressure-carrying components is preferred.
Valuable attention to detail and ability to maintain welding quality.
Knowledge of workplace safety and welding safety procedures.

Qualification:
ITI – Welder / Fabrication or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
Freshers with relevant technical qualifications can apply.
Candidates with relevant welding/fabrication experience will be preferred.
