Job description:

AEC Studies Private Limited, Kochi is looking for a Student Counsellor to join our Kochi office. This is a sales-focused, target-driven position for candidates who are confident in handling leads, making calls, conducting follow-ups and converting enquiries into admissions.

Key Responsibilities

Handle and follow up with student leads generated through digital marketing, seminars, webinars, school/college databases and other marketing activities.

Make outbound calls to prospective students and parents and understand their education and career requirements.

Provide counselling on suitable study-abroad courses, universities and destinations.

Convert enquiries into applications and confirmed admissions.

Conduct regular follow-ups through phone, WhatsApp and other communication channels.

Make a required volume of cold calls to generate additional business opportunities.

Maintain proper records of calls, leads, follow-ups, applications and conversions.

Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.

Coordinate with the admissions/documentation team to ensure smooth processing of converted students.

Participate in seminars, webinars and other student engagement activities when required.

Target & Performance Expectations

This is a purely target-oriented sales role.





The candidate is expected to generate a minimum monthly business of ₹3.5 Lakhs or 10 times their monthly salary, whichever is higher.

Performance will be evaluated based on revenue generated, lead conversion, follow-up efficiency, admissions achieved and overall target performance.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in student counselling, educational consultancy, sales, business development, tele-sales or a similar field.

Strong communication, counselling and sales skills.

Valuable command of English and Malayalam.

Comfortable making a high volume of calls, including cold calls.

Solid follow-up, negotiation and conversion skills.

Target-oriented, self-motivated and result-driven.

Ability to work under pressure and consistently achieve sales targets.

Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets and CRM/lead management systems is preferred.

Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Working Days: Monday – Saturday

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹35,000 per month + Performance Incentives
