Job Description – Gym Equipment Service Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Gym Equipment Service Engineer to handle installation, servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial and residential fitness equipment.

Key Responsibilities
Install, commission, and demonstrate gym and fitness equipment at client locations.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in gym equipment.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of treadmills, cross trainers, bikes, strength equipment, multi-stations, etc.
Attend customer service calls and resolve technical complaints within the required timeline.
Handle AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) service visits and maintain proper service records.
Identify faulty components and recommend suitable repairs or replacements.
Coordinate with the service team and management for spare parts and technical requirements.




Ensure equipment is serviced and maintained according to manufacturer standards.
Maintain qualified communication and valuable relationships with clients.
Prepare service reports after every installation/service visit.

Requirements
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical field preferred.
1–3 years of experience in gym equipment, fitness equipment, or similar technical service roles preferred.
Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
Ability to use basic tools and perform equipment troubleshooting.
Valuable communication and customer-handling skills.
Willingness to travel to different client locations across Mumbai and nearby areas.
Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
