JKR Engineering Industries is a growing steel fabrication and engineering manufacturing company based in Chennai. We manufacture a wide range of industrial and commercial steel products, including cable trays, electrical ladders, heavy-duty storage racks, pallet racks, supermarket racks, shelving systems and other customized steel fabrication products.

Job Responsibilities
Perform MIG/MAG, ARC and/or TIG welding as required for different fabrication jobs.
Weld mild steel and other metal components according to drawings and specifications.
Fabricate and assemble steel components for racks, cable trays, ladders, shelving and other industrial products.
Read and understand basic fabrication drawings and measurements.
Perform tack welding, final welding and component assembly.
Ensure proper weld quality, alignment, dimensions and finishing.
Operate and maintain welding machines and basic fabrication tools safely.
Check welded components for defects such as cracks, porosity, undercut and improper joints.




Follow production schedules and complete assigned work within the required time.
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the welding/fabrication area.
Coordinate with supervisors, fabricators and other production team members.
Follow company quality and safety procedures.

Required Skills & Experience
Previous experience in steel fabrication/welding is preferred.
Experience with MIG/MAG welding will be an advantage.
Ability to work with measuring tools such as measuring tape, vernier, angle gauge, etc.
Basic understanding of fabrication drawings is preferred.
Ability to work with mild steel and sheet-metal components.
Valuable understanding of welding safety procedures.
Ability to work independently as well as within a production team.
Candidates with experience in racks, cable trays, structural fabrication, sheet-metal fabrication or industrial products will be preferred.

Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
