Key Responsibilities
Plan Lessons: Design age-appropriate curriculums using play, storytelling, arts, and games to teach letters, numbers, colors, and shapes.
Supervise and Protect: Maintain a protected, clean, and orderly setting while overseeing children during playtime, meals, and rest periods.
Foster Social Skills: Guide children in sharing, cooperation, empathy, and positive conflict resolution.
Track Progress: Monitor developmental milestones and communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's behaviour and growth.
Core Requirements & Skills
Education: Typically requires a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, associate degree, or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE).
Certifications: Often requires valid CPR and first aid certifications alongside state background checks.
Soft Skills: High patience, physical stamina, robust communication, and creative problem-solving abilities
