Job Summary:
We are looking for a Quality Inspector with hands-on experience in gear manufacturing and precision machining. The candidate will be responsible for in-process and final inspection of gears and machined components, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform incoming, in-process and final inspection of gears and machined components.
Read and understand engineering drawings, GD&T;, dimensions, tolerances and specifications.
Inspect spur gears, helical gears, pinions, shafts and other precision components.
Check dimensions such as OD, ID, bore, face width, runout, concentricity, tooth thickness, pitch and other critical parameters.
Operate inspection instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge and Gear Tooth Vernier.
Conduct gear inspection/testing including profile, lead, pitch, runout and tooth-related parameters.
Carry out first-piece, patrol/in-process and final inspection.




Verify material and heat-treatment requirements as per drawings/specifications.
Identify and segregate OK/NG components and maintain traceability.
Prepare inspection, rejection and quality records.
Support root cause analysis, corrective actions and continuous improvement activities.
Ensure proper calibration and handling of measuring instruments.
Coordinate with Production and Quality teams for quality issues and process improvement.

Required Skills:
Good knowledge of gear manufacturing and machining processes.
Knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T;, limits, fits and tolerances.
Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments.
Understanding of gear terminology and inspection methods.
Knowledge of basic quality tools and inspection documentation.
Positive communication and problem-solving skills.

Education:
Diploma / ITI / Graduate in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
