CIS seeks an experienced Learning Support Educator who understands the developmental needs of middle school students, and who also has experience with Co-teaching/Push - in support. The Learning Support program consists of learning support teachers, EAL teachers, and pastoral care counselors, all of whom support students in classrooms with mild to moderate learning needs. The intent of our multi tiered support system is to nurture and challenge all students so they become empowered, responsible agents of their own learning. Student Support Team members who have EAL experience are highly valued as there are often both sets of needs present in Learners. .
