About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer to join our engineering team on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Python development, backend engineering, REST APIs, databases, and software development practices.

This is a hybrid role, and candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
Build and integrate REST APIs and backend services.
Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
Debug application issues and optimize application performance.
Integrate third-party services and APIs as required.
Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, QA, and other stakeholders.
Follow secure coding, Git, documentation, and software development best practices.





Required Skills
8+ years of hands-on Python development experience
Strong knowledge of Python programming
Experience with backend frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
Strong experience developing REST APIs
Good understanding of SQL and databases
Experience with Git and version control
Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
Good debugging and problem-solving skills
Robust communication and collaboration skills

Valuable to Have
Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
Docker / Kubernetes
CI/CD pipelines
Microservices architecture
Redis, Kafka, or other messaging technologies
Automated testing using PyTest / unittest
Experience with Linux environments
