Role & responsibilities
Conduct raw material and finished product testing as per specifications.
Perform routine chemical and paint quality tests including viscosity, density, fineness, drying time, opacity, shade and gloss.
Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and ensure proper calibration.
Perform in-process quality checks and support batch approval/release.
Identify and resolve quality issues, deviations and batch failures.
Coordinate with Production, Stores and Purchase for quality-related issues.
Maintain QC records, test reports, batch records and SOPs.
Support quality audits and ensure compliance with defined standards.
