Java Developer Backend & Packaging

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with solid expertise in backend development and
application packaging. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing,
building, packaging, and deploying Java-based applications.
Key Responsibilities
•
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based backend applications.
•
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services.
•
Work with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks to build robust enterprise applications.
•
Build and package applications using Maven and/or Gradle.
•
Create and manage application artifacts such as JAR, WAR, RPM, or other deployment packages.
•
Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams for application deployment and release activities.
•
Work with SQL and relational databases for backend data integration.
•
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
•
Write clean, maintainable, and productive code following coding standards and best practices.
•




Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
Required Skills & Experience
•
4–7 years of professional experience in Java development.
•
Strong hands-on experience in Core Java and backend development.
•
Experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
•
Strong understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
•
Hands-on experience with Maven and/or Gradle build tools.
•
Experience in application packaging and deployment processes.
•
Knowledge of JAR, WAR, RPM, or similar packaging formats.
•
Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle or MySQL.
•
Positive understanding of Git and version-control practices.
•
Robust debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have
•
Exposure to CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
•
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
•
Knowledge of cloud platforms.
•
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
