Role-Vmware & vSphere Administrator/Engineer (L3)
Required Technical Skill Set-Vmware & vSphere Admin
Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)-
Must-Have-
Minimum 4 years of hands-on Vmware vSphere Management with Admin (Technical) Skills
Knowledge of overall IT Architecture, Performance Tunning & High Availability.
Expertise in VCF vSphere Platform
Valuable-to-Have-
Knowledge of Servers, Storage, Linux, Network, PostgreSQL, EDB, Kubernetes, OCP & Banking Domain
Readiness to work in 24x7 workplace
Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
Key responsibilities
Design, deploy, and operate VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments alongside traditional vSphere stacks (vCenter, ESXi).
Build and maintain vSphere clusters, vSAN storage, and NSX networking, ensuring highavailability and performance.
Automate routine tasks with PowerCLI or other scripts; IaC tools like Terraform/Ansible are a plus .
Troubleshoot complex virtualization issues and provide clientfacing updates.
Nicetohave skills
Scripting/automation (PowerCLI, Terraform, Ansible).
Robust problemsolving and communication abilities.
VMware certifications such as VCPDCV,vcf,vsphere VCAP, or VCFspecific tracks .
Work environment
Based in mumbai, must join within 30 days (notice period 30 days).
Fulltime role with a focus on productiongrade VCF deployments.
Requirement and skills-
Required experience
36 years handson with VMware technologies (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi).
Solid grasp of VCF architecture and its components (SDDC Manager, workload domains, NSX).
Familiarity with compute, storage, and networking concepts in virtualized data centers.
Exposure to hybrid cloud integrations (e.g., VMware on AWS, Azure VMware Solution) is desirable.
