Responsibilities
Provide L2 support and administration for Microsoft Security and Compliance technologies including Microsoft Defender XDR, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, Microsoft Purview, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection, Sensitivity Labels, and Microsoft Entra ID.
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve security incidents, service requests, and policy-related issues escalated from L1 teams while ensuring compliance with agreed SLAs.
Monitor and uplift security posture and drive Microsoft Secure Score and Compliance Score improvement initiatives by identifying risks, recommending remediation actions, and industry best practice.
Follow ITIL-based processes for Incident, Problem, Change, and Security Event Management while ensuring proper documentation and governance.
Maintain accurate ticket documentation, troubleshooting records, and knowledge base articles to support continuous service improvement.
Collaborate with L1, L3, and customer teams to ensure timely resolution of issues and adherence to service commitments.
Demonstrates robust customer service, communication, and stakeholder management skills while providing regular updates on ticket progress and resolutions.





Requirements
Experience in Microsoft Security and Compliance technologies including Microsoft Defender XDR, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, Microsoft Purview, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection, Sensitivity Labels, and Microsoft Entra ID.
Decent knowledge on Microsoft 365 services including Entra ID, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager).
Experience in managing Microsoft Purview compliance solutions including DLP policies, Information Protection, Sensitivity Labels, Data Lifecycle Management, eDiscovery, Insider Risk Management, and Compliance Manager.
Hands-on with supporting the Conditional Access policies, identity governance controls, MFA, and Zero Trust security initiatives within the Microsoft 365 workplace.
