Role & responsibilities
Plan and monitor day-to-day aerospace production and assembly activities.
Read and interpret 2D engineering drawings, 3D models, BOMs and specifications.
Develop and maintain process plans, routing sheets, SOPs and work instructions.
Support manufacturing of aerospace components and assemblies.
Coordinate with Design, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance and Production teams.
Conduct DFM/DFA reviews and identify manufacturing improvements.
Support tooling, fixture, jig and equipment requirements.
Monitor production schedules, manpower, machine utilization and cycle time.
Identify bottlenecks, defects, rework and process deviations.
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective/preventive actions.
Drive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen and Six Sigma techniques.
Maintain accurate MBOM, routing and production documentation.
Support First Article Inspection (FAI) and aerospace quality documentation.




Ensure compliance with applicable aerospace quality and production procedures.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for manufacturing-related technical issues.
Train and guide production technicians/operators on process requirements.
Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality, safety and delivery.

Required Skills:
Valuable knowledge of aerospace manufacturing and assembly processes.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T;.
Knowledge of machining, fabrication, sheet metal and/or composite manufacturing is an advantage. .
Knowledge of PFMEA, RCA, CAPA and problem-solving techniques.
Knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102/FAI is an advantage.
Understanding of ERP/MRP systems and BOM/routing management.
Valuable knowledge of MS Excel and documentation.
Solid communication and coordination skills.
Hands-on approach and willingness to work on the shop floor.
