Wardrobe Fitter / Furniture Installation Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Wardrobe Fitter who can independently handle the assembly, installation and fitting of customised wardrobes and furniture at customer sites.

The candidate should have good knowledge of furniture installation, wardrobe components, hardware, alignment and finishing. The role requires accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to execute installations as per technical drawings and site requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Assemble and install customised wardrobes at customer sites.
Read and understand wardrobe drawings, elevations, sections and dimensions in mm.
Accurately identify and assemble wardrobe panels, shutters, shelves, drawers and other components.
Install and adjust hinges, channels, drawer systems, handles and other furniture hardware.
Ensure proper levelling, alignment, spacing and finishing of wardrobe units.
Carry out wall fixing and secure installation of wardrobes as per site conditions.
Install wardrobe accessories such as hanging rods, shelves, drawers and internal storage fittings.
Check measurements and site conditions before installation.
Handle basic in office modifications and adjustments when required.




Ensure doors and drawers open and close smoothly and are properly aligned.
Coordinate with the design, production and site teams regarding installation requirements.
Identify any missing, damaged or incorrect components and report them to the concerned team.
Maintain cleanliness and protect the customer's property during installation.
Complete installation within the given timeline while maintaining quality standards.
Handle installation-related customer queries professionally at site.

Required Skills
Positive experience in wardrobe and furniture fitting/installation.
Ability to assemble and install wardrobes independently.
Positive understanding of furniture hardware and fittings.
Ability to read basic technical drawings and understand dimensions in mm.
Knowledge of wardrobe construction and components.
Good understanding of levelling, alignment and finishing.
Ability to use basic carpentry and installation tools.
Strong attention to detail.
Good problem-solving skills for in office adjustments.
Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
Qualified behaviour while working at customer locations.
