Role summary: Operate lathe machines for turning, machining, and finishing roll shafts, pipes, and cores to specified
dimensions.
Key responsibilities:
Operate conventional/CNC lathes as per job drawing
Achieve dimensional accuracy and surface finish as specified
Perform basic tool setting and machine maintenance
Read engineering drawings and work to tolerances
Follow safety and quality procedures
Must-have: Experience operating lathes on shafts, rolls, or cylindrical components • roll-manufacturing background strongly
preferred. ITI Turner/Machinist trade certificate is a plus, not mandatory.
