Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an Assistant Manager Warehouse & Outbound Operations to manage day-to-day warehouse and outbound operations at the dark store. The role will be responsible for ensuring effective order fulfillment, dispatch, manpower planning, operational planning and SLA adherence while maintaining high standards of productivity and accuracy.

Preferred candidate profile
Manage end-to-end warehouse and outbound operations at the dark store.
Plan and monitor daily order fulfillment, picking, packing and dispatch operations.
Ensure timely order processing and dispatch in line with defined SLAs.
Drive manpower planning and deployment based on order volumes and business requirements.
Monitor warehouse productivity and optimize manpower utilization and operational capacity.




Coordinate with last-mile / delivery operations to ensure smooth and timely handover of orders.
Manage dispatch planning, vehicle/rider availability and order flow during peak hours.
Track key operational metrics including TAT, order accuracy, productivity, dispatch adherence, cancellations and SLA performance.
Identify bottlenecks in outbound and dispatch processes and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with inventory, replenishment and inbound teams to ensure product availability and smooth warehouse operations.
Drive process improvements, productivity enhancement and cost optimization initiatives.
Prepare daily/weekly MIS and operational performance reports.
Manage and resolve operational escalations related to orders, dispatch, inventory and delivery handover.
Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety, hygiene and compliance standards within the warehouse.
Lead and motivate warehouse associates/team members and drive a solid performance-oriented culture.
