Role & responsibilities
Design and develop performance test strategies, test plans, workload models, and test scenarios.
Develop, enhance, and maintain performance test scripts using JMeter and LoadRunner.
Execute various types of performance tests, including:
Load Testing
Stress Testing
Endurance/Soak Testing
Spike Testing
Volume Testing
Scalability Testing
Develop scripts using JMeter including HTTP/HTTPS, REST API, parameterization, correlation, assertions, timers, controllers, and listeners.
Develop and execute LoadRunner scripts using VuGen, including correlation, parameterization, transactions, checkpoints, and scripting best practices.
Configure and execute performance tests using LoadRunner Controller and analyze results using LoadRunner Analysis.
Configure JMeter test plans and execute distributed/load tests using multiple JMeter engines where required.
Create realistic workload models based on business requirements and production usage patterns.
