The Design Engineer shall coordinate with the Project Manager and Senior Engineer/Technical Manager/Principal Engineer and be primarily responsible for delivering scheduled tasks in the form of design calculations and drawings. The Design Engineer is expected to be a positive team player within the design team and will:
Manage major aspects of the electrical design of projects.
Be responsible to the Project Manager and Senior Engineer/Technical Manager/Principal Engineer for the organization, production, and quality of work.
Act as Electrical Lead/Sub-lead, depending on the scope of the project.
Coordinate design efforts with all other groups and maintain project records.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards and procedures.
Prepare and participate in design reviews.
Design Low Voltage Switchboards and LV sub-main cabling, distribution, and containment.




Design power distribution for mechanical and public health equipment.
Design earthing and bonding installations.
Design lightning protection, lighting, lighting control, and emergency lighting systems.
Perform preliminary electrical calculations.
Prepare riser diagrams.
Prepare single-line diagrams.
Perform load calculations.
Design panel schedules.
Perform wire sizing and voltage drop calculations.
Prepare electrical enlarged room plans and sections.
Demonstrate excellent electrical knowledge with expertise in AutoCAD and Revit.
Should have experience working on US projects.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputable university.
