Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with all EHS, safety and statutory requirements within warehouse, yard and material handling operations.
Conduct regular Safety Audits, inspections and risk assessments and ensure timely closure of observations.
Monitor safe operation of MHE, forklifts, stackers, VNA, trucks and other material handling equipment.
Ensure compliance with PPE requirements, safety procedures, work permits and SOPs.
Conduct Toolbox Talks, Safety Induction and regular safety training for employees, drivers, contractors and visitors.
Identify unsafe acts/conditions and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Investigate accidents, near misses and incidents and prepare RCA and corrective action reports.
Maintain safety records, inspection checklists, training records and statutory documentation.
Coordinate with JSW EHS/Safety team and ensure compliance with customer safety standards.
Monitor emergency preparedness, fire safety,



evacuation drills and first-aid arrangements.
Track safety KPIs and prepare daily/weekly/monthly safety MIS for management and customer review.
Promote a strong safety culture and zero-accident setting across the operation.

Candidate Profile
Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Safety / Industrial Safety / Engineering.
Experience: 37 years of relevant experience in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or automobile/industrial operations.
Valuable knowledge of EHS practices, risk assessment, incident investigation, fire safety and industrial safety standards.
Experience in handling MHE and warehouse/yard safety will be preferred.
Valuable communication, coordination and documentation skills.
Should be capable of independently managing safety activities at the site.Role & responsibilities
