Pre-Auction Activities (Reverse Auction)

The assigned resource shall be responsible for:
Floating RFQs through the designated e-procurement portal to shortlisted vendors. ABFRL Buyer will provide the shortlisted vendor list . Current vendor recommendation from your side will be an added advantage.
Coordinating with vendors for product samples and obtaining end-user approvals, wherever required.
Organizing technical discussions between vendors and ABFRL stakeholders.
Verifying compliance requirements, including ISI certifications, pollution control norms, and other applicable statutory approvals.
Collecting vendor quotations and preparing comparative statements.
Ensuring an apple-to-apple technical and commercial comparison of all offers received.
Aligning the procurement and auction strategy with the ABFRL procurement team.
Conducting vendor training on the usage of the auction portal.




Driving vendor participation and encouraging competitive bidding to achieve optimum commercial outcomes.
Supporting vendor development initiatives and expanding the vendor base, wherever required.
Auction & Post-Auction Activities

The assigned resource shall be responsible for:
Ensuring all participating vendors submit their acceptable opening bid prices at the start of the auction.
Providing detailed pre-auction and post-auction comparison reports.
Submitting weekly MIS reports covering:
Number of auctions conducted
Savings achieved
Vendor participation details
Key observations and recommendations
Forward Auction Support

Conducting and managing Forward Auctions for liquidation of old stock and other identified assets.
