About the Role

We are looking for a Business Analyst to analyze and improve our scholarship products. You will work with cross-functional teams Sales, Academic, Finance, Operations, Legal, and Technologyto gather requirements, recommend enhancements, and measure impact. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, data

analysis, and transparent communication.

Role & responsibilities

Requirements & Documentation
Gather and document business requirements (BRDs, user stories) based on feedback from Sales, Academic, Finance, Operations, and Legal teams.
Coordinate with the Technology and Support teams to ensure accurate development and smooth implementation.

Analysis & Recommendations
Identify opportunities to optimize scholarship products and sales workflows.
Propose new features and process improvements to increase adoption and conversion.

Reporting & Dashboards
Build and maintain sales dashboards, performance metric reports, and data visualizations.
Deliver timely, error-free reports to support decision-making in Sales and Account Management.

Stakeholder Support & Training
Provide consulting and coaching to Sales and Business Development teams on product features and best practices.
Assist in planning and conducting training sessions for sales teams and leaders.





Project Coordination
Track project progress, manage timelines, and ensure on-time delivery of new features and updates.
Work with multiple stakeholders to resolve issues and escalate where necessary.

Ad hoc Analysis & Projects
Perform additional analyses and support initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency across teams.

Preferred candidate profile
24 years of relevant experience in a B2C or education technology setting.
Experience gathering requirements, data analysis, and working with cross-functional teams.
Certifications (Optional): CBAP, PMI-ACP, CSPO, PMP, or similar business analysis/project management certifications.

Education
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field.
MBA from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 B School (preferred).

Skills & Tools:
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Mid-level proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience with BI and dashboarding tools (e.g., AWS QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and user story creation.
Basic knowledge of Python or other scripting languages (optional).
