Nursing care is a direct service, which includes various components needed to maintain or restore individuals optimum health status.
Assessing and reporting physiological, pathological, and psychological, signs symptoms of the patient.
Performs technical task:
To assist in all type of OT procedures.
To check and maintained the reports and documents of all patients.
Assist the doctors in carrying out the procedures.
Maintenance of all equipments in co ordination with Biomedical engineer.
Responsible for proper inventory and usage.
To check proper packing of all trays to be sent for sterilization in time and collect the same from CSSD department.
To check frequent conductivity of all machines and maintain the record.
Involve in quality assurance/ quality control activities & infection control policy & RSO.
Must be able to identify the clinical changes during the procedure.




Accompanies patients while transferring to other department or transporting for any purpose.
Giving psychological support to the patient.
Take care to the nutritional needs of the patient.
Participate in clinical teaching- planned and incidental.
Participate in service education programs
Imparts health education to the patient and his/her family.

Non-clinical Function
Maintain safety of equipments (care of bio-medical equipments if found any damage or technical fault should be reported to Nurse administrator)
Responsible for borrowed articles from other units
Replacement of medication or any other article used for the patient
Hands over and take over the patient and ward equipment and supply.
Hands over the valuable article of the patient to the relative with proper documentation
