Key Technical Skills

The successful candidate should have solid experience in:
Snowflake advanced hands-on development experience.
SQL advanced SQL development, optimisation, and troubleshooting.
Data Mart development – experience designing and productionising enterprise data marts.
ETL/ELT and data pipelines – Experience with up-to-date ETL/ELT orchestration and transformation frameworks, including scheduling, dependency management, monitoring and recovery.
Medallion Architecture – practical understanding of Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers.
Bitbucket / Git – solid source-control practices.
CI/CD – experience developing automated build, test, and deployment pipelines, preferably using Bitbucket Pipelines.
Data quality and testing – implementation of validation, reconciliation, automated testing, and monitoring.
Performance optimisation – ability to optimise Snowflake workloads, SQL queries, and data models.
Security & Access Management – understanding of Snowflake RBAC, roles, privileges and secure data access patterns.
