Job Summary

The role is responsible for ensuring:
Food quality and safety at restaurants
Food quality and safety during logistics / transportation
Food safety, quality and consistency of all ingredients and products supplied through approved supply partners
Support for recent product commercialization
Regulatory compliance

The ideal candidate is a result-oriented skilled with robust technical expertise, problem-solving capability, and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, regulatory authorities and internal teams.

Job Responsibilities

Restaurant Quality & Food Safety
Ensure adherence to food quality and food safety standards across all restaurants
Conduct/oversee periodic quality and hygiene audits at store level
Drive corrective and preventive action closure for quality deviations

Logistics & Supply Chain Quality
Ensure food quality and safety is maintained during transportation and storage
Establish cold-chain and handling protocols with logistics partners

Supplier Quality Assurance
Ensure food safety,



quality and consistency of all ingredients and products from approved supply partners
Conduct supplier audits and certifications; manage supplier quality scorecards

New Product Commercialization
Support new product development and commercialization from a quality and food-safety standpoint

Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with FSSAI and other applicable food safety regulations, engaging external support where required
Maintain documentation and readiness for regulatory inspections

People/ Stakeholder Management
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers, regulatory authorities and internal cross-functional teams

Preferred candidate profile

Educational Qualification - Degree in Food Technology / Food Science / Microbiology

Specific Certification - Food safety certifications (e.g. FSSAI / HACCP) preferred

Total Experience - 12 - 15 yrs (10+ years in QSR / Food processing industry)
