Role & responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain cloud-native applications and platform solutions using Golang.
Build and support scalable, secure and highly available solutions on AWS.
Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Work with Kubernetes deployments, services, configurations and troubleshooting.
Use Terraform for Infrastructure as Code and automate cloud infrastructure provisioning.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
Develop reusable cloud platform capabilities and self-service solutions to support engineering teams.
Implement cloud security, networking, monitoring and operational best practices.
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis to improve reliability.
Collaborate with development squads, architects and platform teams in an Agile setting.
Help reduce manual/undifferentiated engineering work by improving developer tooling and cloud enablement.

Preferred candidate profile




5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering or Software Engineering.
Robust hands-on experience with Golang, particularly building containerized/cloud-native applications.
Strong experience with AWS and cloud architecture fundamentals.
Hands-on expertise with Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
Valuable understanding of CI/CD and deployment automation.
Experience with Python is preferred.
Exposure to Node.js or Java is an added advantage.
Strong understanding of cloud security, scalability, networking and production troubleshooting.
Experience building developer platforms, reusable tooling or self-service cloud solutions is a plus.
Financial services/retail banking experience is preferred.
Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
