Role Description The SOX Consultant role is a full time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The consultant will support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance activities, including documenting and assessing internal controls over financial reporting, performing walkthroughs,



and testing control design and operating effectiveness. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with client stakeholders, gathering and analyzing evidence, preparing workpapers, and contributing to remediation plans for control gaps. The role involves assisting in the development and refinement of SOX frameworks, updating process documentation, and supporting internal and external audit requests. The SOX Consultant is expected to work closely with cross-functional teams, provide clear and concise reporting, and help drive continuous improvement in control environments.

Qualifications
Strong understanding of SOX requirements, internal controls over financial reporting, and basic accounting principles.
Experience in audit, risk, or compliance functions, preferably within consulting, professional services, or finance environments.
