nAbout the Role:
nWe are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a rapid-paced data engineering team on a contract basis. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and transformation workflows that power critical business decisions. You'll work with contemporary data tools and cloud infrastructure to deliver high-quality, reliable data solutions.
nKey Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using Python, dbt/Dataform, and Alteryxn
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, architects, and designers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutionsn
Build and optimize data transformation logic, data models, and data quality checksn




Implement testing strategies, CI/CD practices, and follow agile development methodologiesn
Work with cloud-based tools (GCP – BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Data Fusion) for data processing and orchestrationn
Develop and maintain APIs/microservices supporting data workflowsn
Ensure data security practices including encryption and anonymizationn
Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging tools/technologies to improve pipeline efficiency and performancen

nMust-Have Skills:

Solid hands-on experience in Pythonn
Practical experience with dbt (Data Build Tool) or Dataformn
Hands-on experience with Alteryx for data preparation and wranglingn
